Workspace storage
An organized, uncluttered workspace can improve your efficiency and calm your nerves. Not to mention your colleagues' nerves too.
Cable crazy
Drill a hole in the back of your desk to neatly pull through electric cables.
When you have one or two cables to hide away, bind them together (cable trunking) and run them along the wall or floor, or even around corners.
Clear the decks
Hang your computer hardware from your workstation with a special holder. It will free up much-needed desk surface and floor space.
Make good use of any alcoves or recessed walls by lining them with shelves.
Prioritize
Make sure that all the items you use frequently are within arm?s reach. Items that you use less often can be stored further away.
To keep everything tidy, use boxes with a corresponding photo or label on the outside for quick identification. Small decorative boxes look great on shelves too.
Clutter-free displays
Shoe racks can be cleverly used to keep your magazines, newspapers and files within easy reach.
Frame a doorway with shelving to display your books and favourite objects. It's a decorative solution and saves space.
Make use of the closets
Install drawers and organize by size, shape or task. This makes finding things – and putting things away – much easier.
Stow away non-business related items, like seasonal decorations or summer fans, and items you don't need on a regular basis in clearly labelled boxes on high shelves.
